Dear Readers,

Today, I want to take a moment to embrace the often overlooked but crucial role of an adjutant. In military terms, an adjutant is a staff officer who assists the commanding officer in issuing orders. However, the concept of an adjutant extends beyond the military and encompasses all aspects of our lives where we have the privilege and responsibility to support and assist others.

As we navigate through our personal and professional lives, we often encounter situations where we can step up as an adjutant. It could be in our workplace, where we support our colleagues to achieve a common goal, or in our communities, where we lend a helping hand to those in need. The essence of being an adjutant lies in selfless service and a willingness to go the extra mile for the betterment of others.

One of my favorite quotes by Winston Churchill resonates with the spirit of being an adjutant: "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." This encapsulates the essence of the adjutant's role – to give of ourselves in service to others, ultimately enriching our own lives in the process.
